The Jefferson Memorial is a beautiful tribute to Thomas Jefferson.

A good tip is to rent a paddleboat from the Tidal Basin's Boathouse. On a nice day, the paddleboats offer a unique view and it is not hard to stay completely dry.

An evening stroll by the memorial can be quite romantic.
