The inside tip on the National Air and Space Museum is to go early. This is the most visited building in the world, so it can get crowded. Additionally, although the museum has dining facilities, there are much better places to have lunch. The mediocre food is expensive, so wait until later and go to Union Station or grab a dog from one of the numerous street vendors.
